farei tornar a esta terra, porque te não deixarei, até que te haja feito o que

La Escalera de Jacob
Versículos clave: Génesis 28:11-15.
Introducción: La palabra hebrea para “escalera” es
“sulam”, que se refiere a una escalera, o a escalónes, o a algo que sube, o a
algo que exalta... Esta palabra aparece solamente una vez en la
Biblia. ¿Qué simboliza esa escalera? ¿Porqué un hombre humilde fue bendecido
siete veces? ¡Cuantos misterios!
Las obras misteriosas de Dios.
Una piedra fue su almohada en medio del monte
desolado. En su sueño, la escalera llegaba de la tierra al cielo, donde
estaba Dios.
Los ángeles subían y bajaban por ella. Jacob
llamó aquél lugar “Betel”, que quiere decir “Casa de Dios”. Betel es un
sitio como a 10 millas al norte de Jerusalén. Abraham por poco sacrificó
a su hijo Isaac en holocausto sobre el Monte Moriah, que está en Jerusalén (Génesis 22:2 comparado con 2 Crónicas
3:1-2). Abraham le reveló a su hijo, “Dios se proveerá de
cordero”. Dios proveyó un cordero a Abraham, y algunos 1,800 años después, Dios proveyó a la humanidad en
Jerusalén a Cristo, quien murió como el cordero de Dios sobre la cruz—sobre el
Monte Moriah. ¡¡¡Todo esto enseña el misterio y poder de Dios!!!
¿Qué simboliza la escalera?
En Juan 1:51 Jesús dijo que “...De aquí en
adelante vereis el cielo abierto, y a los ángeles de Dios que suben y
descienden sobre el Hijo del Hombre”. En el sueño de Jacob, los ángeles
subían y decendían sobre la escalera. ¡¡¡Cristo dijo que los ángeles
suben y descienden sobre el!!! Cristo es el
Camino. Entonces, Cristo es la escalera para llegar al Cielo. “Y
todo aquel que invocaré el nombre del Señor, será salvo!” (Hechos
2:21).
Las siete bendiciones.
Dios le prometió siete bendiciones a Jacob:
1. darle la Tierra Prometida (o sea
Israel)
2. Descendencia tan grande como el polvo de
la tierra
3. Israel se engrandecería
4. Todas las familias del mundo serán
bendecidas a través de él
5. Dios estaría con Jacob siempre
6. Dios lo protegería
7. “Te hare volver a esta tierra”: ¡durante
la resurrección de los muertos, Jacob regresará de nuevo a Israel! Y
usted y yo, aunque muramos, también iremos a la Tierra Prometida!
Nosotros somos parte de esa bendición ya que somos
el Nuevo Israel, decendientes de Abraham, Isaac, y Jacob.

Pensamientos Finales:
Sí, Dios obra en formas misteriosas. Pero en
todos los misterios, vemos a Dios firmemente con el deseo de bendecirnos.
Carguémos nuestra cruz. Subamos una
escalera diariamente que al final nos lleva al rostro del Todopoderoso, ¡que
cada día estemos un escalón más cerca de Dios!
Escalón por escalón, día por día, caminemos hacia
Dios con gozo y sin temor.
